Anglo American plc (“Anglo American”) announces that Hixonia Nyasulu has decided to step down as a non-executive director of the Board of Anglo American on December 31, 2025, after six years of service, to focus on her broader board portfolio.
Hixonia Nyasulu has been an independent non-executive director since November 2019, and she serves on the Board’s Nomination and Remuneration committees. Hixonia also serves as a senior independent director of SSE plc, a non-executive director, vice chair, and head of Olam Agri Holdings’ sustainability committee, and a member of the Council on Sustainability Transformation.
Stuart Chambers, Anglo American’s Chair, stated, “We applaud Hixonia for her long-standing contributions to Anglo American’s Board deliberations. Her views from her executive career and global board expertise in natural resources, energy, and financial services have contributed significantly to our discussions.”
This release meets the Company’s disclosure obligations under UK Listing Rule 6.4.6R.
