Varistem®
Varistem® stemming plugs are used worldwide in blasting operations to optimize and improve energy retention during blasting. The stemming plugs are applicable to use in mines, quarries and civil blasting operations. Some of the main benefits include:
- Improvement in particle size distribution (fragmentation)
- Reduction in stemming ejections and flyrock
- Less blast-induced noise, vibration and airblast/overpressure
These benefits result in more productive, cost-effective and safe blasting. The Varistem® stemming plugs are available for most commercial blasthole diameters, ranging between 1.75 inches (45mm) to 10 inches (251mm).

Micone Flashing Delineation Cones
The Micone Solar Flashing Delineation cones are an innovative new product primarily for the mining, quarrying, civil industries, with secondary applications in any industry that requires safe delineation. The Micone is a safety cone with built in solar panels, batteries, LED lights and day/night sensors that allows it to flash for up to 40 hours on a single day (-+ 9 hours) of charging in daylight.
In particular, mining companies across the world have utilized the Micone in high-risk work areas to indicate exclusions zones, as well as for safer loading, hauling and drilling operations during nightshift.

Pink Collar Protections Cones
The Pink Collar Protection Cones are used within the drill and blast domains on mines with the primary objective of protecting hole collars from collapsing. This results in less “lost” holes and consequently requires less re-drills. The unique design of the cones result in:
- Holes being kept free from debris/rocks.
- Hole collars are secured and kept intact.
- Downlines can be secured more efficiently and effectively.
The Pink Collar Protection Cones are available for most commercial blasthole diameters, ranging between 3.5 inch (89mm) to 10 inch (251mm).
