Our colleagues Daniël Brederode and SOUFIAN ETTAIBI recently installed an SDM ECO at OCP Jorf Lasfar in Morocco, where phosphate rock slurry arrives at the terminal station after travelling hundreds of kilometres from inland mines for further chemical processing.
Using non-nuclear ultrasonic technology, the SDM ECO measures slurry density continuously. This helps operators monitor the balance between solids and water, adjust pumping conditions and maintain consistent feed to downstream processes.
