LoopX has unveiled the demo video of BoomGuard, an AI-powered safety system designed for underground boom machines — including jumbo drills, bolters, shotcrete sprayers, scalers, and more. The system was developed in partnership with Cementation Americas.

BoomGuard goes further by combining multiple night-vision cameras with vision AI to provide full 360° proactive warnings via flashing exclusion zone lights before incidents occur. It also ensures reliable automatic intervention through direct relay control to stop or reset the boom, preventing entanglements and collisions on the left, right, and front of the machine.
