LoopX Launches AI-Powered EMESRT Level 9 Collision Avoidance System
LoopX has introduced its Level 9 Collision Avoidance System (CAS) — a next-generation solution redefining mine safety and productivity.
Unlike traditional Radio Frequency-based underground CAS systems that often trigger unnecessary stoppages and disrupt production, the LoopX L9 CAS uses multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, thermal imaging and night vision camera) combined with advanced AI prediction models to accurately differentiate between warning events and stop events.
By predicting potential collision paths rather than simply reacting to signal proximity, the system ensures proactive safety while maintaining equipment efficiency. The design fully aligns with ISO 21815 standards for Level 9 vehicle intervention control.
