The Rhosonics SDM ECO provides continuous, real-time density measurements using ultrasonic technology, without a radioactive source. From mineral processing to dredging, it helps operators monitor density changes and make informed process adjustments.
How does it work?
The sensor measures acoustic impedance by analysing the reflection of ultrasonic energy at the interface between the sensor and the slurry. This measurement is used to calculate slurry density.
With a specified accuracy of ±0.5%, the SDM ECO provides precise density data for process monitoring and control. Its abrasion-resistant sensor is designed for demanding slurry conditions.
Installation options include horizontal and vertical pipes, partially filled pipes, launders and tanks. A range of fittings – including wafer, spool-piece, weldolet and clamp-in arrangements – allows integration into different process layouts.
