Pyramid Quarry (formerly Pyramid Materials) has been a trusted H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) construction materials affiliate since 2000. Situated in Aston Township, Delaware County, PA, Pyramid Quarry is strategically located to serve the bustling Delaware, southeastern Chester and adjoining Philadelphia County region with vital construction aggregate materials. The underlying metamorphic gray gneiss extracted at Pyramid Quarry provides an excellent base or subbase product finding application in virtually all civil construction projects. All materials produced at this operation are suitable for use in compacted subbase applications as well as general construction use. Our 2A aggregate product maintains certification by the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware Departments of Transportation (PennDOT, NJDOT and DelDOT) as well as the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA).
In addition to producing high quality construction aggregate, Pyramid Quarry also accepts inbound or import Reclamation Fill material. Formerly referred to as “Clean Fill,” these materials may be imported to Pyramid Quarry for general fill or, in our case, reclamation backfill purposes. These inbound Reclamation Fill materials must meet specific environmental criteria in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection rules and regulations. Our qualified staff will guide you through the inbound or import fill protocol and pricing structure is required. Pyramid Quarry only accepts Reclamation Fill, including uncontaminated soil, rock and gravel, brick (non-painted), block (non-painted), concrete (non-painted and no rebar more than 2″) and asphalt chunks.
