This 700TPH iron ore wash beneficiation plant in South Australia was designed to beneficiate extremely abrasive haematite held in stockpiles of low-grade iron ore which has accumulated over several years of mining. This low-grade ore was previously considered a waste product, but our unique design removes the silica and alumina from the feed material, increasing the Fe content from between 43.4% and 52.7% to over 60%! This plant is one of two plants with the customer, processing a total of 950 tonnes per hour of ore.
