PYBAR Carrapateena Mine is a significant underground mining project located about 165 km north of Port Augusta on Pernatty Station in South Australia. The minerals extracted are copper and gold. Raise bore services include drilling 750 mm slots and constructing ventilation shafts ranging from 3.0 m to 6.0 m in diameter, with lengths of up to 500 m, as well as providing shaft lining services when required [1].
As part of the ongoing works at the Carrapateena Mine, additional primary ventilation capacity is required to support the block cave operations. The scope includes constructing shafts ranging from 3.0 m to 6.0 m in diameter and up to 500 m in length, as well as production slot raises measuring 750 mm in diameter and up to 35 m in length [1].
