Mining projects often face setbacks due to poor project management and underestimation of complexity, including inadequate planning, managerial competence, and the ability to handle time, cost, and leadership challenges. These issues frequently lead to increased capital costs from inaccurate studies, unforeseen rework, and execution delays, resulting in cost overruns and financing difficulties.
