- Reforestation and Carbon Offsetting: Trees absorb CO2 as they grow. Investing in reforestation projects is a natural way to balance emissions.
- Energy Efficiency Improvements: This entails improving processes, advanced equipment, and tech integration to minimize energy consumption. For example: Using High-Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) which produce finer particles can also improve downstream processing efficiency, instead of traditional ball mills, which are energy intensive.
Adopting these strategies thereby enables companies to reduce energy and fuel costs, strengthen trust with stakeholders, and meet demanding environmental standards.
